In 1990 Günter Anger, from Potsdam, started „Busbetrieb Anger“ with a VW Bus. His love of „Big Cars“ and travel in other lands was the driving force. Through his dedication and courage came one of the largest Bus companies in Brandenburg. As a result of the huge desire for travel after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the bus fleet continued to grow. Soon the business expanded to Public Transportation, and has become an integral part of the city of Potsdam – the famous “Anger Buses”.
Back in 1999 construction began on the new operating base in the “Friedrichspark” (Industrial Park) area of Potsdam – including covered garages for 40 busses, complete maintenance facilities, a refuelling station as well as a unique bus washing station using a special environmentally friendly design that calls for the use of recycled rain water whenever possible.
The base is the home of over 70 professional chauffeurs who are driving our guests anywhere from the island of Sicily and the remotest areas of the ‘Northcap’ of Scandinavia.
Two years later, in 2001, the “LRQA” quality management system was introduced assuring a continued high level of competency of our drives through an ongoing program of class room and practical training. .
